Loretta Serafin

Loretta Serafin is Research Agronomist, Summer Grains based in Tamworth with the NSW Department of Primary Industries. She has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Agriculture from the University of Western Sydney and a Diploma in Education from the University of New England. She is currently studying to complete a Doctor of Philosophy through the University of Queensland. Loretta began her career with NSW DPI in 1999 and over the last 20 years she has worked in the Moree, Gunnedah and Tamworth districts and has also served as a member of the GRDC Northern Panel. She has a worked on research and extension across a range of broadacre crops with a particular focus on sunflower, sorghum and maize in northern NSW.
