Joseph Eyre
Joe completed a Bachelor of Agricultural Science with honours at La Trobe University in 2002. Then worked as a technical and research officer in the fields of pathology, molecular biology, and plant breeding. In 2011 he completed a PhD at the University of Queensland in the field of postharvest physiology where he investigated the biochemical and eco-physiological processes that influence postharvest quality. Currently, he is researching sustainable and resilient cropping systems in the context of a variable and
changing climate.
Joe’s research interest include plant stress physiology, crop modelling, crop adaptation to climate change.
